Big Announcement: My New Book is Here!
Back in July, I shared with you in my Falling Back in Love with My Path post that I was deep in the process of writing a new book. Well, after months of late nights, countless cups of coffee, and plenty of moments staring at my notes until things finally “clicked,” I am beyond thrilled to tell you that the book is finished!

It feels so good to have completed this project, because it grew out of years of teaching and listening closely to what learners truly need. Again and again, I’ve noticed that many students begin Thai without a clear understanding of the parts of speech. This foundation is essential, because unlike English — where one word can serve several functions — in Thai you often need to choose different words depending on how you want to express yourself. By knowing how words function, you’ll be able to select the right word with confidence and accuracy, expressing your meaning more clearly and naturally. This eBook is my way of guiding you through that step, making the foundations simple, clear, and practical so you never feel lost when building sentences.
Finishing this eBook feels extra special because it’s more than just the end of a project — it feels like I’ve finally stepped fully into this new chapter of my life and work. For a long time, I felt as though I was standing at the doorway of change, looking in but not quite ready to walk though. Writing this book became the bridge. Each page I worked on, each example I shaped, was another step into the life I’ve been creating — a life where teaching, writing, and sharing Thai is not just something I do, but something I live.
This is why completing the book is more than a tick on my to-do list. It’s proof to myself that I can take an idea, nurture it, and bring it fully to life. It’s also a promise to my students, to this community, and to myself that I’m here — ready and excited to keep building.
And so, I want to say a heartfelt thank you. To my students, who encouraged and supported me along the way. And to you — my readers, my fellow learners of the Thai language — thank you for your patience while this book slowly took shape. I truly hope that when you open its pages, you’ll find clarity, confidence, and practical guidance to make your Thai learning journey easier, deeper, and more rewarding.
