Falling Back In Love With My Path

The joy of Writing Again

There’s a special kind of joy that comes from returning to what you truly love. After a long pause, after detours, after life nudged me onto a new path, I’ve finally found my way back to writing — a passion that has always been at the heart of who I am. Getting back to writing feels like coming home. It’s not just the act of putting words on a paper; it’s the way it reconnects me with my purpose, my creativity, and the quiet, steady excitement that comes from sharing knowledge and stories with others. In tarot, this feels very much like The Lovers — the deep satisfaction of aligning with your heart — and the Knight of Swords energy reminds me to move boldly and decisively forward, even after time away.

When I step back into writing, it feels as though the words have been waiting patiently for me, like old friends ready to pick up where we left off. Every sentence reminds me why I start this journey in the first place: to share, to teach, to inspire, and to connect. The Lovers in tarot often speaks of alignment and choice — choosing what feels right for your soul. For me, choosing to return to writing is choosing joy, creativity, and service — a gift I can share in a way that helps others. The Knight of Swords energy brings with it determination and a reminder to act. It whispers: “Don’t just dream about it. Do it!” And that’s exactly what I’m doing.

So here I am, fingers on keyboard, embracing the flow again. And it feels wonderful!

This morning, I spent hours pouring myself into the next eBook — Understanding the Functions of Words in Thai. Words were flowing faster than my coffee could keep up with, and I barely noticed the time. Forgive the picture…. I’m still in my pajamas, hair a little wild, sitting at a campsite table with my laptop. Mum even made me lunch, but I couldn’t stop — so I ended up eating and writing at the same time. It’s not glamorous, but it’s real — and honestly, it feels wonderful to be creating again.

While I’m still polishing this new eBook, I’ve already snuck a few fresh grammar lessons and vocabulary lists into my online store — which I, very creatively, named The Shop 😁. Why “The Shop”? Honestly, I don’t know — it just popped into my head and stuck. But hey, it does what it says on the tin, right?

If you would like to dive deeper into Thai right now, I’d love for you to check them out. Every resource is made to be practical and easy to use — the kind of material I wish I had when I first started teaching. My students have always said my learning materials were very good, but these updated versions? Let’s just say I think even my past self would be impressed! 😂 Over the years, I’ve gathered experience, learned from both my mistakes and my students. Now, I get to share all of that with you in a way that’s hopefully much more helpful.

I just thought I’d give you a little update on what I’ve been up to before heading off to dinner. Have a lovely evening, and thank you for stopping by — I’ll do my best to keep creating, sharing, and bringing you more resources, stories, and inspiration along the way. And if you haven’t already, don’t forget to join my newsletter — that’s where I share all the fresh updates and little behind-the-scenes moments first.

With all my heart, 💛 — Urai
