Old Habits Die Hard!
They say old habits die hard — and I think I finally understand why. Once you’ve found something that truly lights you up, it never really leaves you. For me, that’s teaching. With the new Ministry of Defence course underway, I found myself rediscovering the rhythm of teaching again — the joy of explaining, encouraging, and watching my students grow in confidence. Teaching makes me feel alive. It connects me to purpose, to people, and to that spark of curiosity that keeps life interesting.
So, instead of writing the vocabulary list — Thai Adjectives for Beginners (Level A1) or the next eBook — Five Simple Sentence Structure in Thai, like I mentioned in the previous post Six of Wands Brings New Opportunities, remember?, I took a detour and have been quietly working on updating the Thai Language Tuition UK website.
What started as a small update turned into something much more meaningful. As I revisited the pages, read through old lesson notes, and looked at photos from past classes, I realised how much this part of my life still means to me. Each word, each image, reminded me of the many stories shared, laughter exchanged, and milestones celebrated with students over the years.
Somehow, in the middle of refreshing the site, I felt that familiar pull — the call to teach again, not just through digital materials or books, but online face-to-face, where learning becomes a shared experience. the Six of Wands really made me pause and acknowledge all that I’ve accomplished — the projects completed, the lessons learned, the milestones reached, and even the quiet progress that may have gone unnoticed. It encouraged me to take a moment to gratitude before moving forward with new energy and purpose.
And so, here I am, ready once again to welcome new students to Thai Language Tuition UK. The website is now refreshed, renewed, and open for bookings.

If you’ve been thinking about learning Thai — whether you’re starting from zero or returning to it after a break — I’d love to be part of your journey. Teaching is not just what I do; it’s what keeps me inspired, grounded, and connected.
I guess that’s why old habits die hard — because some habits aren’t just routines; they’re part of who you are. Teaching has always been that for me. It’s the heartbeat that keeps me moving forward, no matter how many paths I explore.
Well, that’s the new updates. Thanks for stopping by and sharing this moment with me. If you’d like to see what I’ve been working on, visit https://thailanguagetuition.com/. Have a lovely day, and I’ll see you in my next post.
With all my heart, 💛 — Urai
