Big Announcement: Noun Classifiers in Thai ebook is Here!
I’m excited to finally share this with you! Over the past few months, in between teaching and writing, I’ve been quietly working on another resource that I know many of you have been waiting for. And today, it’s ready: Noun Classifiers in Thai is now available as an eBook in my online store.
If you’ve ever tried to speak Thai, you’ll know that classifiers are everywhere. They’re those little words that often don’t exist in English, but are absolutely essential in Thai. For example, in English you can say “three books,” but in Thai you to say หนังสือสามเล่ม (hnǎng-sěu sǎam lêm) — and that word เล่ม (lêm) is the classifier. Without it, your Thai won’t sound complete or natural. And here’s the challenge: there are many, many of them, each links to specific things — from people and animals to objects, furniture, buildings, and vehicles.
This eBook gathers the essential classifiers you’ll need to sound natural and confident when expressing quantities. It’s a practical reference you can keep returning to as you grow in Thai language. I love for you to explore it and let me know your thoughts. The best to do this is to leave me a comment on my social media about it. Your feedback helps me keep creating resources that really make a difference.

With all my heart, 💛 — Urai
